Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir from Üsküdar Üniversitesi, who conducts his environmental studies globally, will now participate as a panelist in the 29th Session of the Youth Assembly program, to be held in New York on August 16-18. Özdemir, who emphasizes the importance of the environment on every platform, will share insights on the meaning of Mizan for youth.

The common working text, developed under the umbrella of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Faith for Earth Initiative, with contributions from Muslim thought leaders worldwide, Al Mizan: World Environment Covenant, is being presented on every platform.
Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, Faculty Member of the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Üsküdar Üniversitesi, and Director of the Üsküdar Üniversitesi Environmental Ethics Forum, comprehensively addresses the environment and its importance in every program he attends globally.
In this context, Özdemir will now participate as a panelist in the 29th Session of the Youth Assembly program (AFS Youth Assembly), which will be held in New York on August 16-18.
AFS Youth Assembly is known as a global platform that creates an international network of young leaders and change-makers through exchange, education, action, and impact.
The event is organized with the theme ‘Shaping Our Common Future,’ and the following topics will be addressed:
