Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı, Head of the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Üsküdar Üniversitesi, attended the ‘Pendik Manager Seminars’ program organized by the Pendik District Directorate of National Education as a speaker. In the seminar held at Pendik Atatürk Cultural Center, Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı made evaluations on the topic of ‘The Impact of Digitalization on Education and Society’. In the conference held for school administrators in Pendik District, Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı stated that digitalization is the most fundamental factor triggering the phenomenon of change emerging in contemporary societies.

Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı, mentioning that the internet, communication technologies, and artificial intelligence constitute the fundamental trinity of digital transformation, also stated that digitalization facilitates access to information. Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı said; “With the innovations brought by digitalization in the field of education and training, the traditional understanding of education is being left behind, entering a new era in education, and this era necessitates a new educational philosophy. The foundation of this era's educational philosophy should be a process of existence where each child can savor their unique individuality, instead of uniformity.”

The seminar concluded after Pendik District National Education Branch Manager Avni Er presented a plaque of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı.
