In this context, a full-day ‘Positive Psychotherapy’ training was organized for experts from Uskudar University and NP Brain Hospital, led by Dr. Tayyab Rashid.
At the event, which was also attended by Uskudar University Founding Rector, psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, a total of 34 experts received training, 21 from NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital and 13 from Uskudar University.
The event was attended by expert names such as Psychologist Yıldız Burkovik, Lecturer Çiğdem Demirsoy, and Dr. Lecturer Aslı Başabak Bhaıs from NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, and was also accompanied by names such as Specialist Psychologist Can Kamsız, Dr. Lecturer Fatma Turan, and Specialist Clinical Psychologist Görkem Altıntaş from Uskudar University.

Dr. Tayyab Rashid, a licensed clinical psychologist at the University of Toronto Scarborough’s Health & Wellness Centre, has been working for 15 years with individuals experiencing complex mental health issues such as severe depression, debilitating anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and suicidal behavior.
Dr. Rashid, who pioneered with the book Positive Psychotherapy, which he co-authored with Martin Seligman, draws attention with his work in the field.
