Students of Üsküdar University's Vocational School of Health Services Podology Program visited the Kızılay Zeynep M. Nedim Oyvar Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center within the scope of October 1 International Day of Older Persons. During the visit, accompanied by Lecturers Muharrem Tosun and Meldağ Turhan, students spent time chatting with the elderly and supported their health by performing foot care.

They met with the elderly
Students of Üsküdar University's Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) Podology Program visited a nursing home, accompanied by Lecturers Muharrem Tosun and Meldağ Turhan.
Students celebrated their day with the elderly, chatted with them, and spent time together.

Foot care was performed
During the visit, students accompanied the elderly with various activities throughout the day.
Additionally, Podology Program students contributed to the elderly having both an enjoyable and healthy day by performing foot care.
Certificate of appreciation was presented
At the end of the visit, the Kızılay Zeynep M. Nedim Oyvar Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center presented a certificate of appreciation to Üsküdar University's Podology Program for its contributions.
They contributed to intergenerational communication
The event fostered a strong bond between young people and the elderly, making the seniors feel valued.
