Sectoral products and application techniques in podology discussed

An applied training event titled “Introduction to the Sector: Getting Acquainted with Podological Products - II” was organized by the Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) Podology Program. In the program, which brought together sector professionals and students, the latest products and modern treatment methods were experienced on-site in the podology laboratory.

The guest of the event held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Podology laboratory was Podologist Kaan Ahmet Yılmaz. At the event, Instructor Muharrem Tosun and Instructor Meldağ Turhan also provided information to the students.

Frequently encountered cases were examined

In the practical demonstration carried out by Instructor Meldağ Turhan, students were directly informed about which products and techniques should be used in frequently encountered cases such as ingrown nails, nail fungus, and heel cracks. In this way, students had the opportunity to closely familiarize themselves with the basic equipment and products used in the sector in a laboratory setting.

Key points were addressed

In the training, which progressed with the participation of Podologist Kaan Ahmet Yılmaz and the department's lecturers, it was aimed to increase students' professional awareness by sharing the features of products developed for the field of podology and the key points in their application stages. 

In the training where technical information to strengthen students' sectoral equipment was shared, the importance of professional development was emphasized.

The event concluded after a certificate of appreciation was presented to Kaan Ahmet Yılmaz and a group photo was taken.
