Üsküdar University Health Services Vocational School (SHMYO) Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics Program organized a technical trip titled “Full Balance”. During the trip, organized to enhance students' professional knowledge and skills, students had the opportunity to examine foot biomechanics and personalized insole production processes on-site. In this context, students reinforced their theoretical knowledge with practical field experience and had the chance to closely familiarize themselves with current analysis methods used in the sector.
During the visit conducted at the Fullbalance Personalized Insole and Gait Analysis center, students gained comprehensive knowledge about sectoral practices.
Personalized insole production processes observed on-site
During the trip, company representatives first gave a presentation on foot analysis systems, technologies used, and measurement principles. Advanced sensor-based gait analysis platforms, foot scanning devices, and innovative materials used in personalized insole production were introduced to the students in detail. In this context, students observed foot biomechanics, pressure analysis, gait evaluation, and personalized insole production processes on-site.
Comprehensive information obtained about sectoral practices
Throughout the technical trip, emphasis was placed on the importance of correct insole use in maintaining foot health, proper shoe selection, analysis of foot deformities, and the role of modern technologies in solving biomechanical problems.
Students asked questions they wondered about regarding evaluation and production processes to company experts, gaining comprehensive knowledge about sectoral practices.
