Peer Review Process Successfully Completed at Health Sciences Institute

The peer review process conducted within Üsküdar Üniversitesi Health Sciences Institute has been successfully completed. With the exit statement shared at the end of the visit, the prominent strengths of the institute, along with areas needing improvement, were comprehensively addressed. Additionally, the studies carried out within the scope of quality and the improvement processes were examined in detail. 

The evaluation, which took place in the Main Campus Senate Hall, was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Enis Bulak, Director of the Institute of Science, and Dr. Lecturer Öznur Eyilcim from the Food Technology Program of the Vocational School of Health Services. 

The evaluation process was chaired by Vice Rector, Director of the Health Sciences Institute, Prof. Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel. The process involved the institute's management, heads of departments, graduate students, and personnel from the student affairs department. The Peer Review process was also officially recorded with meeting minutes. 

Furthermore, an evaluation was conducted with graduate students by Asude Nur Algül, Student Representative of the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences. 

The Institute's Work Was Examined in Detail

The evaluation, which began with a presentation on the institute and its graduate programs, thoroughly addressed the institute's mission and vision, strategic goals and objectives, curriculum of graduate programs, number of students enrolled in graduate programs, satisfaction rates, events organized by the institute, meetings held with external stakeholders, social contribution and social responsibility efforts, studies conducted within the scope of quality, and improvement processes.

Quality Practices Were Addressed Holistically 

Following the evaluation, the evaluation team comprehensively addressed the institute's strengths and areas needing improvement. 

Subsequently, the evaluation process was completed with the sharing of the exit statement.
