The peer review process conducted within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Üsküdar University has been successfully completed. Within the scope of the evaluation, efforts aimed at disseminating, internalizing, and sustainably developing a quality culture across the faculty were examined.

The evaluation process, held at the Üsküdar University NP Health Campus, was attended by Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Arif Aktuğ Ertekin, Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Nuri Bingöl, Health Services Vocational School Deputy Director Instructor Esad Sadık Demirtaş, Quality Commission Chair Asst. Prof. Özlem Oğuz, and Research Assistant Kübra Kayıkçı from the Department of Medical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine.

The peer review process was carried out in a multidimensional manner
The peer review process was chaired by Health Services Vocational School Deputy Director Instructor Esad Sadık Demirtaş. Within the scope of the process, one to one interviews were conducted with academicians and students determined by the faculty. In addition, feedback on education and training processes was obtained through meetings with employers and graduate students within the framework of external stakeholder participation.

Physical infrastructure and educational environments were examined on site
As part of the program, classrooms and laboratories were visited, and the faculty’s physical infrastructure, educational environments, and application areas were examined on site. Through the interviews and field visits conducted, the current state of the faculty was evaluated from a holistic perspective.
Quality focused approach was strengthened
The peer review process was completed as an efficient study that supported the quality focused approach of the Faculty of Health Sciences, contributed to identifying strengths, and helped determine areas open to improvement.
