A peer evaluation process was carried out within the Üsküdar University Institute of Science. Within the scope of the evaluation, the mission, vision, goals, and strategic objectives of 29 postgraduate programs were addressed, aiming to plan all efforts towards the dissemination, adoption, and continuous improvement of a quality culture.

Postgraduate programs comprehensively addressed

The evaluation process, held at Üsküdar University Central Campus, was attended by; Institute of Science Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Enis Bulak, Health Services Vocational School Director Dr. Lect. Member Ömer Faruk Karasakal, Institute of Science Deputy Director Dr. Lect. Member Orkun Kozanoğlu, Institute of Social Sciences Deputy Director Dr. Lect. Member Selami Varol Ülker, Institute of Science Secretary Hülya Dündar, and Quality Commission Head, Research Assistant Dr. Özlem Şimşek from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.

Academicians, department heads' representatives, external stakeholders, alumni, and students also took part in the program.

In this context, Aslı Yıldırım, a PhD student at the Institute of Sufi Studies, who supported the peer evaluation process as a student evaluator, met one-on-one with students and received answers to evaluation questions.

Information provided on the evaluation process

While SHMYO Director Dr. Lect. Member Ömer Faruk Karasakal chaired the peer evaluation process, a general information presentation regarding the process was given by Institute Deputy Director Dr. Lect. Member Orkun Kozanoğlu.

The presentation shared comprehensive information about the Institute of Science's education and training activities, quality assurance system, and ongoing work.
Participation of academic and administrative stakeholders ensured

In the multi-stakeholder evaluation process, internal self-evaluations were conducted, addressing the institute's strengths and areas needing improvement from a holistic perspective.

Evaluation process concluded with an exit statement

The peer evaluation process concluded after the evaluation team read the exit statement and a group photo session.
