Peer Evaluation Process Completed at the Faculty of Health Sciences

The peer evaluation process conducted within Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences has been successfully completed. Within the scope of the evaluation, efforts aimed at disseminating, internalizing, and sustainably developing the culture of quality throughout the faculty were addressed. 

The evaluation process conducted at Üsküdar University NP Health Campus was attended by; Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Arif Aktuğ Ertekin, Deputy Dean Assistant Professor Dr. Nuri Bingöl, Deputy Director of the Vocational School of Health Services Lecturer Esad Sadık Demirtaş, Head of the Quality Commission Assistant Professor Dr. Özlem Oğuz, and Research Assistant Kübra Kayıkçı from the Department of Medical Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine. 

The peer evaluation process was carried out in a multifaceted manner

The peer evaluation process was chaired by Lecturer Esad Sadık Demirtaş, Deputy Director of the Vocational School of Health Services. Within the scope of the process, one-on-one meetings were held with academicians and students determined by the faculty. Furthermore, within the framework of external stakeholder participation, feedback regarding the education and training processes was gathered through meetings with employers and alumni.

Physical infrastructure and educational environments were examined on-site

Within the scope of the program, classrooms and laboratories were visited, and the faculty's physical infrastructure, educational environments, and practice areas were examined on-site. Thanks to the conducted meetings and field visits, the current situation of the faculty was evaluated from a holistic perspective.

Quality-oriented approach strengthened

The peer evaluation process was completed as a productive study that supports the Faculty of Health Sciences' quality-oriented approach, contributing to the identification of strengths and areas open for development.
