A Peer Evaluation process was carried out within the Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. Within the scope of evaluating the mission, vision, objectives, and strategic goals of nine departments, all efforts were planned to be prepared to disseminate, adopt, and continuously improve the quality culture.

Dean Prof. Osman Çerezci, Vice Dean Prof. Burhan Pektaş, Vice Dean Prof. Gökhan Apaydın, Asst. Prof. Bahriye Eseler, Asst. Prof. Hümeyra Genç, Heads of Departments, Quality and Accreditation Commission Head Assoc. Prof. Soner Kızıl, Quality and Accreditation Commission Members, Rapporteurs, Faculty Secretary Lokman Çelik and Faculty Specialist Esra Gündüz, department directorate representatives, external stakeholders, alumni and student representatives attended the peer evaluation meeting held at the Üsküdar University Main Campus Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.

FENS examined multidimensionally
Within the scope of the meeting, an opening presentation was made by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Prof. Osman Çerezci. In this context, the departments within the faculty were introduced. The organizational chart of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences was also shared with the participants during the presentation. The faculty's mission and vision were discussed at the meeting, where the institutional goals of the academic unit were also addressed.
Information was provided about the laboratories in the departments within the scope of the meeting. It was stated that basic courses are generally conducted in common laboratories, and laboratory sessions are carried out by dividing students into groups.

Data addressed comprehensively
Continuing the meeting, Vice Dean Prof. Burhan Pektaş continued the presentation. In this context, the distribution of faculty members was evaluated, and data from the last 5 years were examined.
Vice Dean Prof. Gökhan Apaydın then continued the presentation. Matters regarding the monitoring and improvement of research performance were discussed. In this context, the comparative academic activity performances of the departments were also evaluated.
Subsequently, a presentation was given by Quality and Accreditation Commission Head Assoc. Prof. Soner Kızıl. Evaluations were conducted based on the peer evaluation files.

Multi-stakeholder participation
In the process where multi-stakeholder participation was ensured, while internal self-evaluations were carried out, strengths and areas needing improvement were addressed with a holistic perspective.
The peer evaluation process concluded with the reading of the exit statement by the evaluation team.
