Students of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Vocational School of Health Services Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics Program, led by the Head of Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics Program, Lecturer Kübra Akkalay

A trip was organized to the ROBOTEL Türkiye foundation to contribute to the professional experience of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics associate degree students. During the one-hour trip, Serdar Okumuş, one of the founders of the ROBOTEL Türkiye Foundation, provided students with information about the establishment stages and activities of the association.

ROBOTEL is a non-governmental organization that freely shares custom-made, economical, and usable mechanical hands produced with 3D printers for individuals, especially children, in Türkiye who need hand and finger prostheses.
Based on volunteerism, the organization provides free mechanical hands to children under 18, helping them to be like their healthy peers in social and educational fields. With its voluntary working group, the organization provides usable mechanical hand production, especially for child prosthesis patients in Türkiye.
