Özcan Kocabaş explained shoe manufacturing…

Pattern Shop Manager Özcan Kocabaş talked about the shoe manufacturing process. Kocabaş stated; “For the manufacturing of the planned shoe, the shoe pattern pieces are prepared and created. The pieces created in the cutting room are cut. The cut pieces are designed using appropriate joining methods, and an initial prototype is obtained. Then the product is exhibited, and when an order is received, it is placed with the manufacturer. The process works this way…” he said.

During the organized technical trip, students had the opportunity to gain knowledge by visiting the cutting room, sewing room, and assembly areas where all stages of production take place.

The trip concluded after a group photo session.
