Academicians and graduates from Üsküdar University participated in the 8th International 19th National Nursing Congress, organized in cooperation with Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing and the Turkish Nurses Association (THD).
The 8th International 19th National Nursing Congress was held between September 26-28.
Among the faculty members of the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sebahat Ateş, Lecturer Dr. Merve Çolak, Research Assistant Gizem Güneş, Research Assistant Rıdvan Doğan from the Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics, Faculty of Health Sciences, undergraduate alumna Berna Can and postgraduate alumna İkra Nur Kıvrak, participated in the congress with their presentations.
Contributions were made with oral presentations
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sebahat Ateş, Vice Head of the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Üsküdar University, and undergraduate alumna Berna Can participated in the congress with their paper titled “Barriers to Nurses Providing Individualized Care,” while postgraduate alumna İkra Nur Kıvrak also attended the congress with her oral presentation titled “Determining Chronic Disease Statuses and Predisposing Factors of Nurses in Turkey.”
Research Assistant Gizem Güneş from the Department of Nursing presented her study titled “The Effect of WhatsApp-Supported Training on Nurses' Self-Efficacy Regarding Safe Parenteral Drug Administration and Medication Error Tendencies” at the organized congress.
Additionally, the study co-authored by Lecturer Dr. Merve Çolak and Research Assistant Rıdvan Doğan, titled “The Effect of Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors on Pregnancy Stress in Pregnant Women Admitted to Family Health Centers,” was also presented as an oral paper.
