Students of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Vocational School of Health Services Nuclear Technology and Radiation Safety Program visited the Power and Machines Laboratory established within the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. Accompanied by Program Head Lecturer Dilek Aker and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feride Kulalı Özdek, the students received detailed information about energy production using renewable energy sources. It was emphasized that the continuation of such academic and technical collaborations in the future is of great importance.

The technical trip held at the central campus attracted great interest.
Laboratory supervisor Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamza Abunıma and Research Assistant Enis Kranda introduced the Electrical Machines Training set, Renewable Energy Training set, Transmission Line Training set, and Power Electronics Training sets to the Nuclear Technology and Radiation Safety program students.

They had the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge
Subsequently, experiments on renewable energy, energy conversion, and power systems were conducted using the training sets.
Through repeated experiments on energy production and conversion with Wind Turbines and Solar Panels by the students, theoretical knowledge regarding renewable energy sources and their importance learned in classes was reinforced.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamza Abunıma answered students' questions after the experimental studies.
Within the scope of the visit, students' awareness of renewable energy and energy efficiency was increased.

At the end of the technical trip, Lecturer Dilek Aker and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feride Kulalı Özdek thanked the Üsküdar Üniversitesi Power and Machines Laboratory team for their hospitality. It was emphasized that the continuation of such academic and technical collaborations between the two departments in the future is of great importance.
