Üsküdar Üniversitesi NPCELLAB İTTÜ Biotechnology Team participated in the 4th Transplantation and Cellular Therapies Congress held in Cyprus. The NPCELLAB İTTÜ Biotechnology Team took part in the CAR-T Cell Course with their educational presentations. The educational presentations, which shared current approaches in cell therapy, were met with great interest.

During this important organization, while current scientific and clinical developments in CAR-T cell therapies were discussed, the NPCELLAB İTTÜ Biotechnology Team provided comprehensive training content related to their areas of expertise to the participants.

Current Approaches in CAR-T Cell Therapy Shared

Within the scope of the course program, team members delivered presentations on various topics.

General Director Dr. Cihan Taştan delivered a presentation titled “Chimeric Antigen Receptor Design and Gene Transfer Systems.” Dr. Taştan thoroughly discussed the structural design of antigen receptors forming the basis of CAR-T cells and gene transfer mechanisms, emphasizing the role of next-generation vector technologies on therapeutic effects.

R&D Manager Beyza Aydın presented on “CAR-T Cell Structure and New Generation CAR-T Cell Products.” Aydın shared the latest technological approaches in cellular therapies, the clinical advantages of new generation CAR-T platforms, and innovative methods in production processes.

Responsible Manager Muhammet Yılancı spoke on “Manual Production and Characterization of CAR-T Cells.” Yılancı conveyed the manual production stages of CAR-T cells under GMP conditions, quality control processes, and characterization methods with practical examples.

Quality Assurance Officer Raife Dilek Turan addressed the topic “Fast CAR: Rapid and Effective Production Approaches.” Turan introduced the fundamental principles of “Fast CAR” strategies that shorten production time, increase efficiency, and enhance product quality.

Scientific Collaborations to be Developed in the Field of Cellular Therapy

The training program conducted at the congress made significant contributions to both increasing the capacity for clinical applications of CAR-T cell therapies in our country and developing scientific collaborations in the field of cellular therapy.

Mission to Develop Innovative Solutions Continues Steadfastly
