Three projects, prepared with the support of the Üsküdar Üniversitesi Social Projects Coordination Office and Young Brains Academy, have qualified for support within the scope of the Youth Projects Support Program implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
“3 important projects qualified for support”
The Ministry of Youth and Sports implements programs aimed at supporting the personal and social development of young people, enabling them to realize their potential, and increasing their active participation in all areas of life. Within the scope of the Youth Projects Support Program, three projects focusing on volunteer activities for individuals over 65, and enhancing personal development and interpersonal communication skills, were prepared with the support of the Üsküdar Üniversitesi Social Projects Coordination Office and Young Brains Academy. These projects were found successful and qualified for support under the 2020-1 Grant Program.
Within the Ministry of Youth and Sports 2020-1 Grant Program, the project “Reading University-Reading High School,” submitted in the “Personal Development” category and coordinated by Dr. Lecturer Hale Yaylalı from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication, will be implemented with the cooperation of Üsküdar Üniversitesi and the support of the Üsküdar District Directorate of National Education, under the execution of the Haydi Tut Elimi Rehabilitation, Education and Aid Association.
“My Support is With You Everywhere”
The second project to qualify for support is the “My Support is With You Everywhere” (Darülaceze Volunteers Workshop) project, submitted in the field of volunteerism providing support for individuals over 65, coordinated by Dr. Lecturer Zeynep Gümüş from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The project, which adopts a rehabilitation approach blending various activities involving science, art, values, and entertainment, aims to guide young and elderly individuals to build relationships and gain experiences in different areas of life. It will be implemented with the cooperation of Üsküdar Üniversitesi and carried out by the Tedavisel Beyin Haritalama Ve Nöroteknoloji Derneği.
“Local and international students are aimed to establish communication”
The project “Unity Work for the Future in Our Civilization Geography” aims to create a platform for international students coming to Istanbul for higher education from Islamic countries and local students. This platform will support their personal development regarding social and global issues, allowing them to reflect their intellectual productivity. Designed to enhance communication and cooperation, the project will be implemented with the cooperation of Üsküdar Üniversitesi and carried out by the Adaleti Savunanlar Stratejik Araştırmalar Merkezi Derneği.
