Students of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program organized a trip to İstanbul Ağaç ve Peyzaj A.Ş. In the program accompanied by Program Head Dr. Lecturer Tuğba Kaman, students also had the opportunity to practice.

Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Students Conducted a Technical Visit

Within the scope of the trip, students were provided with information about the soil mixtures prepared at the Plant Mortar (Soil) Production facility.
Students were given practical training on many subjects, from how the seed-sowing soil should be, to sowing depth according to seed size, and irrigation methods.
The students, consisting of 40 people, were also introduced to the tropical and subtropical plants in the greenhouse and given information about what kind of analyses are performed in plant and irrigation water analysis laboratories.
