The '18th T4PE-O' event was held hosted by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Medicine and organized by the Üsküdar Medical Students' Association. Medical students were informed during the event organized by the Turkish Medical Students' Association. During the two-day event, attended by many medical students from outside the city, topics such as how medical students should prepare for international internships and how to host international students coming for internships were discussed.

The event, held at Üsküdar Üniversitesi NP Health Campus İbn-i Sina Auditorium, saw a high turnout.
Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Cankut Tatlıparmak from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, along with Ahmet Yiğit İyiköşker, Aleyna Yılmaz, Burcu Korkmaz, Eda Ceylin, Eralp Abacı, Nur Dağdelen, Berkay Gündüz, and Doğa Sanem Altuğ from the National Exchange Team, participated in the event. The guests shared their experiences with Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Medicine students.

Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Cankut Tatlıparmak from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, who serves as the international internship exchange director for the Turkish Medical Students' Association, shared his past experiences with the students. Tatlıparmak stated: “The period of SCOPE directorship was actually the worst and unhappiest time for me within IFMSA. It is such an intense job that definitely one person should not do it.”
Various training sessions, informational meetings, and interviews were held during the two-day event.
What Does the Turkish Medical Students' Association Aim For?
The Turkish Medical Students' Association has member local representatives in 90 medical faculties nationwide. While having a network of over 30,000 medical students across Turkey through its member medical faculties, it also represents Turkey internationally among 139 National Member Organizations in 130 countries within IFMSA (International Federation of Medical Students' Associations), of which it has been a member since its establishment.
By reaching all medical faculty students in Turkey; operating in social and scientific fields, developing the knowledge, perspectives, and skills of future physicians; prioritizing global health; engaging in advocacy activities to protect the rights of all medical faculty students, and aiming to be the largest comprehensive non-governmental organization representing all medical faculty students nationally and internationally.
It aims to contribute to medical faculty students becoming universal physicians who are aware of global health and environmental issues, by providing the necessary scientific and social environment for them to achieve proficiency in their professional lives.
