As part of an event organized by the Üsküdar Üniversitesi Vocational School of Health Services Medical and Aromatic Plants Program, students visited Bezmiâlem Vakıf Üniversitesi Phytotherapy Center (FITOMER). Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Tuğba Kaman, Head of the Medical and Aromatic Plants Program, accompanied the event, which saw the participation of 23 students.
During the event held at Bezmiâlem Vakıf Üniversitesi Phytotherapy Center (FITOMER), students gained insights into what is done in herbal product development and quality control laboratories.
Center officials provided students with technical information about natural products derived from plants and their development stages, enabling them to gain experience regarding the industry and work environment.
The event, which enabled the theoretical knowledge learned through the Medical and Aromatic Plants Program to be demonstrated in detail in practical fields, allowed students to gain insights into the application phase.
