In the study conducted by Instructor İdil Arasan Doğan from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Institute of Social Sciences, together with students from the Psychology and Sociology departments of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, participants were given a brief psychoeducation on the Alzheimer's disease process.
In the training prepared in the context of positive psychology, by applying positive interventions, participants shared insights regarding the disease process, focusing on phenomena such as awareness of their own lives, their strengths, processes they perceive positively, how they cope with challenging life events, interpersonal relationships, emotional expressions, gratitude, and the meaning in their lives.

Participants' Emotionally Charged Responses Drew Attention
In response to questions posed to participants, particularly 'What would you like to say to your Alzheimer's patient?', emotionally charged answers were received such as 'Let's be thankful for today, let it stay like this, I always want to see you smile, let's not leave each other, I love you.' The study, which was understood to provide a positive touch to the well-being of patient relatives, concluded after a group photo session.
