A meaningful event for patients and their relatives was organized at the Kadıköy Alzheimer Center on September 21, World Alzheimer's Day. The event, organized to boost the morale of Alzheimer's patients, was attended by Lecturer İdil Arasan Doğan, a board member of Üsküdar University's Institute of Social Sciences (SOBE) and the Turkish Alzheimer Association. During the program, which also saw some enjoyable moments, purple balloons were released into the sky.

Lecturer Doğan Drew Attention to Support for Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients
Lecturer İdil Arasan Doğan, who has undertaken many projects within the scope of cooperation between Üsküdar University's Institute of Social Sciences and the Kadıköy Alzheimer Center, was a guest at the event organized at the Kadıköy Alzheimer Center as part of World Alzheimer's Day.
Kadıköy Deputy Mayor Mustafa Oltulu, Kadıköy Municipality Health Director Filiz Coşkun, and Turkish Alzheimer Association President Prof. Dr. Başar Bilgiç, along with the head of the association's Kadıköy Branch Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Nilgün Çınar, attended the event.
Speaking at the event, which was held to keep the spirits of Kadıköy Alzheimer Center patients and their relatives high, İdil Arasan Doğan drew attention to support for patient relatives and the impact of Alzheimer's disease on caregivers.

A Morale Concert Was Given for Alzheimer's Patients
At the event, held to boost the morale of Alzheimer's patients, celebrations were held, songs were sung, and a cake was cut.
At the event, where Kadıköy Alzheimer Center employees sang to uplift the patients' spirits, students from the Kadıköy Municipality Youth Art Center also gave a musical feast.
Finally, a cake was cut at the event, where the patients were very happy, and lavender sachets were distributed to the participants as a souvenir of the day.
The event concluded with the release of purple flying balloons into the sky.
