Students of the Molecular Biology and Genetics (English) department at Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences presented the project ideas they developed within the scope of the Special Topics in Bioengineering course, given by Assistant Professor Dr. Ayla Arslan in the 2022-2023 fall semester, to the jury.

To the event held within the scope of the Special Topics in Bioengineering course, Üsküdar University Vice Rector and Molecular Biology and Genetics Department Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. Osman Çerezci, and Assistant Professor Dr. Çiğdem Sezer Zhmurov, Deputy Head of the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department, participated as jury members.

The project named ‘Labofix’ won first place
In the competition, which was also followed by ARGEYEP Director Meltem Bayraktar as an audience member, students fiercely competed in 19 teams.
As a result of the oral presentations, which had to be completed within one minute in an 'Elevator Pitch' format, the project named ‘Labofix’, presented by team number 7, won first place.
