Tarhan stated that he wished this event to be transformed into a traditional organization where research, innovation, and entrepreneurship are discussed for Üsküdar Üniversitesi students every May 19th.
On May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, with the organization of Üsküdar Üniversitesi R&D and Innovation Policies Directorate, Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan listened directly to the research projects and entrepreneurial activities of Üsküdar Üniversitesi students.

Prof. Dr. Kaan Yılancıoğlu, and numerous faculty members attended the event.
Students who achieved success in different fields came together on the same platform
Halime Usta Yoğun, Director of R&D and Innovation Policies, along with the ARGEYEP Team and students who won TÜBİTAK Star Scholarship, students who received support from the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Undergraduate Projects Program, the top 3 finalist teams from the BOOTCAMP Üsküdar Entrepreneurship Marathon held for the first time this year at Üsküdar Üniversitesi, and the Üsküdar Technology Club, which organized the BOOTCAMP Üsküdar Marathon, also participated in the meeting.

In the online event, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan emphasized the meaning and importance of the day; he stated that he was very proud to discuss research, innovation, and entrepreneurship with the students and youth of Üsküdar Üniversitesi on this meaningful day, and to listen to their successful outputs. Tarhan noted that Üsküdar Üniversitesi is rapidly progressing towards becoming a strong research university, continuing its path by advancing these processes and activities more professionally and dynamically with the restructured ARGEYEP (R&D and Innovation Policies) Directorate. He also stated that he wished the event to be transformed into a traditional organization where research, innovation, and entrepreneurship are discussed for Üsküdar Üniversitesi students every May 19th.
Halime Usta Yoğun: “We aim to instill entrepreneurship and project culture...”
Halime Usta Yoğun, Director of R&D and Innovation Policies, who organized the program, stated that they take great pleasure in producing valuable outputs in the field of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship with the academic staff and students of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, together with the ARGEYEP team. Recognizing that youth are our future; Yoğun noted that they aim to involve them in research projects, and instill a project culture and entrepreneurship culture by adopting innovative approaches during their academic lives. She added that TÜBİTAK's Star Scholarship and TÜBİTAK BIDEB scholarships are very valuable for students to gain a research culture. Yoğun also extended her congratulations to all students and their academic advisors who received support from these programs.
