"Marriage Intention Contract" Guides Young Couples Getting Married in Eskişehir

Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan had included a 10-article "Marriage Intention Contract" in his book "The Last Refuge: Family," in which he emphasized that the family, as the cornerstone of society, must be built on solid and strong foundations.
The contract stated, "We are two separate individuals, yet we are parts of a whole. We will not forget the balance between our freedoms and our responsibilities," emphasizing that common ideals include the goal of a lifelong shared life based on love, respect, and trust.

The "Marriage Intention Contract," penned by Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and sent to municipalities across Turkey, was hung in the Kent Evi Wedding Hall by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality.
Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen sent a letter to Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, thanking him for the contract.
