A delegation of Malaysian academics from the Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Ismail Petra institution paid a visit to Üsküdar Üniversitesi. The meeting, moderated by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, was attended by Associate Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Asil Özdoğru, Head of the Political Science and International Relations Department Prof. Dr. Havva Kökarslan, Head of the Sociology Department Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı, Director of the Institute of Sufi Studies Prof. Dr. Elif Erhan, Secretary General Selçuk Uysaler, Head of Corporate Communications Department Tahsin Aksu, Head of International Relations Department Peyman Jafari, and their teams.
Mutually Developed Collaborations Evaluated
During the meeting held in the Senate meeting hall, student-faculty exchange programs with the Malaysian delegation were discussed.
Üsküdar Üniversitesi and NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi were also introduced, and potential collaborations to be mutually developed were evaluated.
Following the evaluation of collaborations, a plaque and a book were presented to the Malaysian delegation by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and a preliminary protocol signing ceremony was held for future cooperation.
After the presentations, the Malaysian delegation was given a tour of Üsküdar Üniversitesi campuses and provided with information about the university.
The visit concluded after a group photo session.
