The topic of 'Loneliness in Business Life' will be discussed at the International Loneliness Symposium, which will be held for the fifth time this year by Üsküdar Üniversitesi. Invited speakers from Turkey and abroad will gather to contribute from various fields at the symposium, which will be held online on Saturday, December 16.

At the International Loneliness Symposium, which will be held for the fifth time this year by Üsküdar Üniversitesi with 'Loneliness in Business Life' as its main theme, the loneliness experiences of people from various professions in different countries will be approached from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Invited speakers from Turkey and abroad will gather to contribute from various fields at the symposium, which will be held online on Saturday, December 16.
At the symposium, the loneliness experiences of people from various professions in different countries will be discussed from an interdisciplinary perspective. Each speaker will present significant discussions and raise important questions by addressing loneliness in the context of business life from their own field and perspective.
The opening speeches of the symposium will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı, Chairman of the Symposium Organizing Committee, Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, Rector of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, and Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar Üniversitesi.
In the first session of the symposium, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cem Tutar from Üsküdar Üniversitesi will address 'Information Technologies and the Ethos of Business Life in New Capitalism: A Performance Culture Story', Dr. Tansel Tercan, Dr. Nurfer Tercan, and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University will cover 'The Struggle of Loneliness: Discovering Loneliness in Tourism Business Life', and Prof. Dr. Gali Galiev and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zinira Abrarova will discuss 'Loneliness Caused by Job Loss: The Case of Russia'. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nihan Kalkendeler Özdin, and Aslı Hale Kılıç will present 'Loneliness in the Workplace in Turkey: Research Results'.
In the second session of the symposium; Yusuf Özkan Özburun will present 'When You Are Alone, Be a Universe for Yourself!', Hale Sülüş Örenç 'The Loneliness of School Principals', Hülya Mutlu 'Human Relationship as a Psychological Capital Investment', Kader Güven Keskin and Merve Akkız Altun 'The Loneliness of the 2nd Generation in Family-Owned Businesses in Turkey'. In the third session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güzel Tokareva will present 'The Loneliness of White-Collar Migrant Workers', Asif Bayramov 'The Relationship Between Loneliness and Alienation in Business Life', Milana Dzhidzhoeva 'The Loneliness of the Entrepreneur in Russia: In Business Life and Beyond', Ashimova Aigerim, Vaishali Jadon-Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, "Understanding the Dimensions and Organizational Consequences of Loneliness in the Workplace: The Case of India", and Lev Gumilyev and Zaida Kunanbayeva will present 'Successful and Lonely Businesswomen: The Case of Kazakhstan'.
