Kazakhstani PhD Students Visit Üsküdar University

During the meeting held during the visit, Head of the Sociology Department Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı stated that Üsküdar University attaches great importance to academic relations with Turkic Republics, adding that relations with Kazakhstan hold a special significance in this regard. Head of the Sociology Department Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı and Rector's Advisor Prof. Dr. Sırrı Akbaba met with PhD students Aigul Zhanadilova, Assem Dauletkeldyyeva, Madi Sanatkanuly, and Assemgul Maimakova from the Sociology Department of Kazakhstan L.N.Gumiliev Eurasian National University at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and conversed with the students for a while.
Akbaba offered some advice to the visiting doctoral students on methodology in scientific research. The visiting students requested Üsküdar University faculty members to provide evaluations on their respective research topics. Head of the Sociology Department Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı reiterated that Üsküdar University attaches great importance to academic relations with Turkic Republics, emphasizing that relations with Kazakhstan hold a special significance in this context, and spoke about the studies conducted at Üsküdar University concerning the social problems of Turkey and the Turkic World. Süleymanlı also noted that the university has a very dynamic structure in this regard.

At the end of the meeting, a plaque symbolizing Kazakhstan was presented to Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı by the doctoral students.
