The spirit of Gallipoli was experienced in Karabakh…

The first anniversary of the liberation of Karabakh from 30 years of occupation, which was freed as a result of the 44-day struggle of the Azerbaijani army last November, is also being celebrated in Turkey. Head of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Department of Sociology Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı, emphasized in the program he attended that the Karabakh Victory enabled a new spirit, similar to the spirit of Gallipoli, to be experienced.

Ebulfez Süleymanlı, Head of the Department of Sociology at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, made special statements on the first anniversary of the Karabakh Victory.

Karabakh Victory celebrated with events

The anniversary of the Karabakh Victory was celebrated with speeches and artist performances at events attended by President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Özgül Okan Yavuz, and state protocol.

In the speeches, it was emphasized that the Karabakh Victory of Turkey and Azerbaijan, from historical, strategic, and economic perspectives, is one of the most important examples of the cooperation and brotherhood, and the unity of belief and spirit between the two countries.

The spirit of Gallipoli was experienced in Karabakh

Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı said the following in the program he attended on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Karabakh Victory:

“The Karabakh Victory, which holds a very important position not only for Azerbaijan but generally for the Turkic world, enabled a new spirit, similar to the spirit of Gallipoli, to be experienced again in the first quarter of the 21st century. The name of this spirit is the Karabakh Spirit!”
