Üsküdar University organized a meaningful commemoration program within the scope of the 9th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day. Within the framework of the events held between July 11 and 17, university members gathered in different programs to commemorate the epic struggle against the coup attempt and to honor the martyrs.

Commemoration program started with an exhibition
The commemoration program began with the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration Events Exhibition, opened in the lobby area of Üsküdar University Central Campus.

The exhibition, featuring photographs and information panels reflecting the spirit of the July 15 night, was met with great interest by students and staff.
The university's senior management, academic, and administrative staff also visited the exhibition, refreshing their memories of that night.

Martyrs' monument and museum visited
The next stop for the events was the July 15 Martyrs' Monument and Museum.

A delegation consisting of Üsküdar University academics, students, and administrative staff visited the monument to remember the coup attempt that took place in 2016 and to keep the memory of the martyrs alive.

During the visit, prayers were offered for the martyrs.
Following the visit to the Martyrs' Monument, the delegation also toured the museum area specially prepared for July 15, examining visual and written materials related to the events that occurred.

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan participated in the panel "The Name of Victory: Turkey, My Great Family"
In this context, Üsküdar University Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, participated in the “The Name of Victory: Turkey, My Great Family: July 15 Panel and Exhibition” organized by the Ministry of Family and Social Services.
