Bringing together many leaders and prominent figures from different parts of the world, TRT World Forum 2025 was held for the 9th time with the theme Global Reset, “Global Reset: From the Old Order to New Realities.” Student teams ISSTeam (International Student Support Team) and TFTeam (Target Friendship Team) from Üsküdar Üniversitesi's International Student Relations Office, affiliated with the Health, Culture and Sports (SKS) Department, along with students from the Department of Management Information Systems at Üsküdar Üniversitesi’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, participated in the forum.


The event, held from October 31 to November 01 at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel and Conference Center, attracted significant interest.
The forum, which aimed to generate ideas and suggestions for building a better, fairer, more peaceful, and prosperous world at the end of the challenging process the world is currently facing, brought together many expert academics, media professionals, politicians, think tank representatives, NGO workers, and youth representatives.
In this context, views on a better world, including topics such as peace, justice, equality, economy, politics, social issues, and communication, were shared.

They had the opportunity to strengthen intercultural dialogue and cooperation networks
Students from Üsküdar Üniversitesi directly communicated with international media representatives from various countries at the forum, strengthening intercultural dialogue and cooperation networks within the scope of “Global Partnerships.”
It was emphasized that the Palestinian struggle is part of humanity's common quest for justice!
Within the scope of the forum, Ahmad Mozaik from TFTeam conducted a special interview with journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh, the symbolic figure of Gaza. Al-Dahdouh emphasized that the Palestinian struggle is part of humanity's common quest for justice, drawing attention to the importance of the conscious and unified stance of youth for global peace.
Attention was drawn to the humanitarian dimension of war reporting
Furthermore, Üsküdar Üniversitesi student Attalah Cazbah interviewed Sami Shehada, TRT's field photographer working in Gaza, shedding light on the humanitarian dimension of war reporting and the vital role media plays during crisis periods.


A meeting was also held with the Head of TRT's Education and Research Department
In another important part of the forum, ISSTeam and TFTeam met with Selin Burcu, Head of TRT's Education and Research Department. Dr. Gülcan Ayral, Lecturer and Manager of Üsküdar Üniversitesi's International Student Relations, held productive discussions with Selin Burcu on project collaborations aimed at strengthening the international student ecosystem.
This contact established a strong foundation for future academic and cultural projects in line with the important sustainability goals of “Quality Education” and “Partnerships for the Goals.”
In a major event with participation from many parts of the world, in line with Üsküdar Üniversitesi's strategies that prioritize multiculturalism, internationalization, and sustainability, students from Üsküdar Üniversitesi gained valuable insights by interacting with globally significant topics and individuals.
