Under the coordination of Üsküdar University International Relations Department, the “International Agency Summit” was held, aiming to strengthen academic collaborations on a global scale. Within this scope, the university's globalization vision, international goals, and support mechanisms offered to students were shared with the participants. Participants from different countries came together in a warm atmosphere, engaging in cultural interaction and establishing contacts to strengthen collaborations. The summit then concluded with an iftar program where international representatives and administrative staff gathered.

Held with strong participation

The summit, held at the İbni Sina Auditorium of Üsküdar University NP Sağlık Campus, was attended by Üsküdar University Secretary-General Asil Barış Bağ, Deputy Secretary-General Cumhur Bakır, Head of International Relations Department Dr. Peyman Jaferi, university staff, and agency representatives from various countries.

Emphasis placed on the importance of establishing multidimensional collaborations

Dr. Peyman Jaferi, Head of International Relations Department, who gave the opening speech of the summit, drew attention to the importance of establishing sustainable and multidimensional collaborations with academic partners from different geographies. Jaferi thanked the international representatives for their contributions and support.

Global marketing strategies discussed

International Marketing and Enrollment Manager Yiğit Koş made a presentation on the marketing strategies prepared for the new academic year and target market planning. Referring to international student recruitment and global marketing processes, Koş stated that multi-channel communication strategies, especially social media campaigns, are effectively utilized.

Erasmus and academic mobility opportunities explained

Within the scope of the summit, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Assistant Mehmet Kaymaz provided information regarding the academic mobility of international students. Kaymaz elaborated on the opportunities offered within the Erasmus program and shared details about student exchange processes.

Enrollment processes and student experience discussed

International Enrollment and Communication Manager Assistant Ali Abdullah Açıkgenç informed the participants about the steps to be followed from the application stage to the final enrollment process. The points students should pay attention to throughout the process were addressed.

Student adaptation processes also mentioned

Ayça Aracıçam, making a presentation on behalf of the ISS Team, provided comprehensive information on international students' campus life, services offered, and student experience. Aracıçam emphasized that students' adaptation processes are supported through orientation programs, academic counseling services, and social activities.

Support mechanisms for international students shared

International Enrollment and Communication Expert Assistant Madina Adkhamova provided information regarding the residence permit processes for international students in Türkiye. Support aimed at facilitating students' living processes in Türkiye was also conveyed.

Plaques presented to international representatives

Subsequently, plaques were presented to international business partners by Üsküdar University Secretary-General Asil Barış Bağ and Deputy Secretary-General Cumhur Bakır. 

Thanks were extended to High Time Consultation, the representative of Nigeria; Study Şehir, the representative of Tunisia; Gasa Company, the representative of Azerbaijan; Edutolia, the representative of Indonesia; Marifet Group, the representative of Jordan; Alibaba Academy, the representative of Turkmenistan; and Saya Group, the regional representative for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia.

Summit concluded after iftar program

The summit continued with an iftar program where international representatives and administrative staff gathered. 

Participants from different countries came together in a warm atmosphere, engaging in cultural interaction and establishing contacts to strengthen collaborations. The summit also offered opportunities for mutual exchange of ideas and networking, reinforcing Üsküdar University's internationalization vision in a social setting.
