A Joint Article Was Authored

Doctoral Student Aiman Keldinova from Kazakhstan's Al-Farabi National University visited the Philosophy Department of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences as a guest student for a six-month period last year. Aiman Keldinova also gave a seminar titled “Kazakh Philosophy: From History to Modernity," which was attended by faculty members and students. After returning to her country, Aiman Keldinova co-authored an article with Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, with whom she had worked. The article was published in Russian in the latest issue of the Journal of Philosophy, Culture and Political Science of the National Kazakh Al-Farabi University.

It Addresses the Relationship Between God, Nature, and Man!

Drawing on Islamic philosophers and fundamental religious texts, the article, which addresses the relationship between God, nature, and man, poses profound questions such as “Do humans change nature or not? What is God's relationship with human nature?” and touches upon many significant issues. It also underlines how the answers to these questions influence and shape ideas put forth in politics, economics, psychology, sociology, theology, philosophy, and even the sciences. Özdemir and Keldinova examine these questions within the framework of the concept of 'mizan' (balance, harmony, equilibrium), evaluating them under three categories: “mizan between God and nature,” “mizan between the world and nature,” and “mizan between nature and man.” In light of these categories, the article also explores the fundamental philosophical and religious approaches of Kazakh Philosophy, specifically emphasizing the place and importance of these concepts in modern philosophy.
