An academic delegation from India’s Kerala state visited Üsküdar Üniversitesi. The academic delegation, led by Dr. Sabique MK, Rector of MES Mampad College, met with Üsküdar academics as part of their academic tour in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Kaynak, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, delivered the opening speech of the visit, emphasizing the historical roots of relations with India and the importance of future cooperation. During the visit, the Indian delegation also toured the Risale-i Nur Studies Platform and received information.

Indian Academic Delegation Visits Üsküdar

Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Kaynak, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, faculty member of the Philosophy department, and members of the RİNAP board of directors attended the visit held at Üsküdar Üniversitesi South Campus.
The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, a faculty member of the Philosophy department at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Emphasis Placed on the Importance of Academic Collaborations
Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Kaynak, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, delivered the opening speech of the visit. In her speech, Kaynak emphasized the importance of international academic collaborations. Highlighting the historical roots of relations with India, Kaynak also stressed the significance of future cooperation.

Üsküdar University Introduced Comprehensively
During the visit, a comprehensive presentation was given to the delegation about Üsküdar Üniversitesi's academic programs, research activities, and advanced technological infrastructure. Information regarding Üsküdar Üniversitesi's Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, and NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi was also provided.

RİNAP Also Visited
Additionally, the delegation visited the Risale-i Nur Studies Platform (RİNAP) and exchanged ideas on Islamic philosophy and the contributions of Said Nursi's spiritual legacy to contemporary education.
Educational Opportunities Expanding for Indian Students
The delegation members emphasized that Üsküdar Üniversitesi has the potential to be an attractive higher education center for Indian students. They expressed their desire for the establishment of bridges between institutions in Kerala and Üsküdar Üniversitesi to promote future academic cooperation, faculty exchange, and student mobility.
This visit is seen as a promising step towards establishing stronger educational ties between Turkey and India, once again demonstrating Üsküdar Üniversitesi's commitment to global academic partnerships.
