Üsküdar Üniversitesi academics continue to meet with high school students. In online events held throughout the week, academics informed students preparing for exams about university departments and career planning, and also gave presentations for parents.
In the first event of the week organized for Doğru Cevap Eğitim Kurumları parents, Assistant Professor Dr. Tuğba Aydın Öztürk from the Sociology Department gave a presentation titled “Parent Education in Pandemic.”
Assistant Professor Dr. Tuğçe Ballı from the Software Engineering Department and Research Assistant Fatma Betül Akyol from the Computer Engineering Department provided information about software engineering and computer engineering departments for students of Bağcılar Abdurrahman Nermin Bilimli Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
Program Head of Medical Laboratory Techniques, Lecturer Ömer Faruk Karasakal, gave information about the Vocational School of Health Services to students of Halit Armay Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Mediha Engizer Multi-Program Anatolian High School.
Assistant Professor Dr. Elçin Babaoğlu from the Nursing Department and Research Assistant Ekin Çevik from the Nutrition and Dietetics Department, who introduced the nursing and nutrition and dietetics departments to students of Hayriye Dursun Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, answered questions from students after their presentations.
Program Head of Laboratory Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Ebru Özkan Oktay, informed the students of Bülent Akarcalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School about the Vocational School of Health Services.
In her second presentation this week, Assistant Professor Dr. Tuğba Aydın Öztürk from the Sociology Department gave a presentation titled “Parental Attitudes” for the parents of Tuzla Kale Koleji.
In the final promotional event of the week, Assistant Head of Political Science and International Relations Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Gökser Gökçay, and Assistant Professor Dr. Selin Dingiloğlu from the Political Science and International Relations Department, provided information about the Political Science and International Relations Department to students of Çankırı Nevzat Ayaz Social Sciences High School.
