The 7th High Human Values Awards (YİDER), organized by the Üsküdar University Senate to perpetuate 24 golden values, was held recently. One of the awards, presented by the public to exemplary individuals and institutions in their fields, was given to Nobel Peace Prize laureate economics professor Muhammad Yunus, the inventor of the 'Microcredit' application. In the news report reflected in the Bangladeshi press regarding Grameen Bank founder Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, who was deemed worthy of the award in his field, it was stated: “Grameen Bank founder, economist Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, is the recipient of countless awards, including the Nobel Prize. Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus was presented with the ‘High Human Value Award’ by Üsküdar University in Istanbul. Previously, only six distinguished individuals received this award. Although Prof. Dr. Yunus did not personally attend the award ceremony held on March 4, he participated through the Zoom application. Professor Aziz Akgül received the award on his behalf.”
