In the 'Burundi Oral and Dental Health' project organized with the support of the Friends of All Africa Association (TADD) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Müzeyyen Seda Altop from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, served as the Medical Director. Hosted by Burundi's First Lady Angelina Ndaishimiye and the Embassy of Burundi, the project garnered significant attention from national radio, television channels, and newspapers. Within the scope of the project, 700 examinations were conducted.

The healthcare team traveling from Turkey to Burundi was welcomed by Alp Işıklı, Turkey's Ambassador to Bujumbura, and Navie Quetsia, daughter of Burundian President Evariste Ndayishimiye and Director of the Bonne Action Foundation, TADD's partner organization.

700 examinations conducted within the scope of the project
The healthcare team also brought numerous medical supplies and medicines to be used for screenings and treatments. Within the scope of the project, 700 examinations, 1500 tooth extractions, simple dental treatments, and fluoride applications for children were performed.

In the project where Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Müzeyyen Seda Altop from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, served as the Medical Director, health support was provided to thousands of people in Burundi.

The project, organized with the support of the Friends of All Africa Association (TADD) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), attracted significant interest from Burundi's radio and television and other national radio and television channels, as well as newspapers.
