Üsküdar Üniversitesi continues to bring field experience to its students. Adem Özkan, Head of the TRT Broadcast Monitoring and Coordination Board, meets with students at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication for Media, Religion, and Communication courses.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi, which has added important names in its field to its staff, is strengthening its academic staff with names from the field. Adem Özkan, Head of the TRT Broadcast Monitoring and Coordination Board, teaches the Media, Religion, and Communication course at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication.
Özkan, who has been involved in many programs such as the documentary “The Sun Rising to the World: Islamic Science History with Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin”, TRT 1 Ramazan Sevinci, Sahur Zamanı, Düşünce İklimi, teaches students at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication.
Who is Adem Özkan?
Adem Özkan was born in Kırıkkale. He graduated from Kırıkkale High School. In 1987, he graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Theology and started teaching in İzmir. He completed his military service as a reserve officer. He completed the Civil Servants Foreign Languages Education Center and started working as a Program-News Specialist in TRT Ankara Television's Religious and Ethics Programs in the same year. He worked as a Producer-Director, Presenter, and Scriptwriter in Education-Culture Programs, TRT GAP Broadcasts, and Documentary Programs. In 1997, he completed the NSC Public Diplomacy program. From 2004-2012, he served as the Manager of TRT Religious and Ethics Programs. Here, he served as the General Coordinator for many programs. He currently works as the Head of the TRT Broadcast Monitoring and Coordination Board.
He has a book published by Üsküdar Municipality titled “Game Changer in Science History: With Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin-2019”.
He teaches the “Media, Religion, and Communication” course at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication.
Adem Özkan, who speaks Arabic and English, is married and has three children.
