The "Goodness Movement Project to the City of Hearts with Volunteer Youth," specially supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and carried out in collaboration with Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, and Maltepe Youth Center, is starting. The project, coordinated by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Young Brains Academy and the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, also stands out as an exemplary and pioneering project in the themes of 'Volunteerism, Participatory Youth, Silent Acts of Kindness'.

“Goodness Movement Project to the City of Hearts” with Volunteer Youth is Starting!
The project is driven by the motto "Be a Volunteer, Do it from the Heart..."
Following the advice of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, "Do silent acts of kindness, but do them from the heart," and with the motto "Be a Volunteer, Do it from the Heart...", the project aims to increase the sense of ownership among volunteer youth, teach them the culture of volunteerism, and enable them to live out their national and spiritual values wholeheartedly, passing them on to future generations through acts of kindness.
In the project, carried out in collaboration with Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, and Maltepe Youth Center, the target audience consists of over 100 students in Konya Karatay Sakyatan Village Primary School, where one teacher educates four classes.
Within the scope of the project and in collaboration with clubs, the participating clubs in the goodness movement include: the Medical Students' Association, Sustainable Development Club, Nature Sports Club, Pomegranate Movement Club and Pomegranate Tales Association, and the New Generation Culture Platform. Additionally, Konya Karatay Municipality, Konya Karatay District National Education Directorate, Konya Governorship, KONES Handicrafts Cooperative, and stakeholders in Konya are also supporters of the project.
Within the scope of the project, supported by a special budget from the Ministry of Youth and Sports:
By the Medical Students' Association: painting the exterior of the school, making children's toilets hygienic, conducting awareness workshops on hygiene for children, and providing first aid training;
By the Sustainable Development Club: planning awareness and sensitization workshops with children in the school garden regarding the climate crisis. Planting seed balls in the school garden and making composite fertilizer;
By the Nature Sports Club: organizing nature walks within Konya with youth and children, and establishing awareness workshops within the scope of Environment Week;
By the Pomegranate Movement Club and Pomegranate Tales Association: establishing a Pomegranate Library, Pomegranate Seeds Kindergarten, Art and Science workshops, and awareness workshops for children;
By the New Generation Culture Platform: visiting the historical and cultural sites of Konya and promoting local Konya dishes.
