Üsküdar University continues to expand its internationalization vision and has added a new global partnership to its portfolio. In this context, an academic and scientific cooperation agreement was signed between Üsküdar University and the Communication University of China, one of China’s most prestigious higher education institutions.

The visit, hosted by the Erasmus+ Coordination Office of the International Relations Department of Üsküdar University, was attended by a delegation led by Prof. Liao Xiangzhong, Rector of the Communication University of China.
The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Nazife Güngör, Rector of Üsküdar University, Prof. Türker Tekin Ergüzel, Vice Rector, Prof. Gül Esra Atalay, Dean of the Faculty of Communication, faculty members, and representatives of the Erasmus+ Coordination Office.

Highlighting the importance of the cooperation, Prof. Nazife Güngör, Rector of Üsküdar University, stated that both the visit and the signed protocol represent a very concrete step toward establishing strong academic and cultural ties in the field of communication.
Through this strategic partnership, new global opportunities have been created for students and academics of both universities.
A shared future in communication sciences
In a meeting held in a cordial atmosphere, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two universities laid the foundations for academic and scientific cooperation.
Key topics discussed during the meeting included joint projects and international mobility initiatives. Within this framework:
Joint Projects: Planning collaborative projects in the field of communication sciences that will bring together the academic expertise of both countries.
International Mobility: Enhancing cultural and scientific interaction through student and academic staff exchange programs.
During the meeting, a presentation was also delivered introducing the academic structure and facilities of Üsküdar University.
