The way was paved for academic and administrative staff exchange between the two universities

International Balkan University was established in 2006 by YÖK (Council of Higher Education) with a decision of the Turkish Grand National Assembly in Skopje, the capital of the Republic of North Macedonia. Within the framework of ERASMUS cooperation, the way was paved for activities such as academic and administrative staff exchange, undergraduate and postgraduate student exchange, implementation of joint research projects, teaching, organizing symposiums, and increasing academic cooperation between the two universities.
Within the scope of the protocol, a symposium on 'Modern Dentistry' was held at International Balkan University on November 17, 2024, with the approval of the North Macedonian Chamber of Dentists. International participants from different European countries took part in the event.

Dr. H. Fulya Üçem, Lecturer at Üsküdar University Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery, also attended the symposium and delivered a presentation titled "Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and Modern Conservative Treatment Methods".

Promoting cultural interaction is aimed

The opening speech of the symposium was delivered by Dr. Maryan Denkovski, President of the North Macedonian Chamber of Dentists, and Prof. Dr. Enis Redzep, Dean of International Balkan University Faculty of Dentistry.

I wish this cooperation, which will open new horizons for our students and academic staff, to be beneficial for both institutions."
