The opening of the Family Academy, the first of its kind in Turkey, was held.
The opening program, to which Üsküdar University Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan was also invited, was attended by Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, and many other names.

Tarhan, who attended the opening of the Family Academy, the first of its kind in Turkey by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, provided information about divorce cases and numbers in Turkey and Europe. He touched upon the effects of these divorces on children. Drawing attention to the modules he presented regarding the protection of family structure, Tarhan stated that this work implemented the modules it presented very well.
