The founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was commemorated with mercy, gratitude, and respect at Üsküdar University on the 87th anniversary of his passing. At exactly 09:05, life came to a halt for one minute across all campuses. Members of the NPGRUP family honored Atatürk with deep longing. As part of the commemoration events, a November 10 Press Exhibition was also opened to visitors.

As in previous years, Üsküdar University organized a series of remembrance events within the scope of Atatürk Memorial Day and Atatürk Week.
Accompanied by sirens, Üsküdar University’s academic and administrative staff, along with students, observed a moment of silence and then sang the Turkish National Anthem together.

Üsküdar University’s application and science partner, NPİSTANBUL Hospital, also held a ceremony at the same time to commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

During the programs, emphasis was placed on Atatürk’s dedication to science, education, women’s rights, and his love for nature and animals. The importance of upholding the values and achievements of the Republic was strongly underlined.


The Üsküdar family once again remembered Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with deep respect, love, and gratitude.

The November 10 press exhibition opened to visitors
The History Club, affiliated with the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports (HCS) at Üsküdar University, organized a special Press Exhibition to commemorate the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on the 87th anniversary of his passing.

The exhibition featured newspaper headlines dated November 10, 1938, as well as period-specific press documents. It drew great attention from students and staff alike.

Visitors had the opportunity to observe, through the headlines of that day, the deep love and grief the Turkish nation felt for Atatürk and how it was reflected in history.
