On November 10, 1938, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, closed his eyes to his beloved homeland and to life. Atatürk's passing, who should be an example to everyone with the importance he placed on education, women, and animals, deeply saddened the Turkish Nation. Atatürk, a leader frequently emulated and loved not only by the Turkish people but also by other nations, bid farewell to us at five past nine on November 10, 1938. Since his passing, Atatürk has been commemorated every November 10 with various events.
The academic and administrative staff of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, along with their students, also commemorated Mustafa Kemal Atatürk across all their campuses when the clocks showed 09:05.
