Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Commemorated by All Üsküdar University Units on His 85th Anniversary

Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, was once again remembered with mercy, gratitude, and respect during the commemoration program held at all locations of Üsküdar University on the 85th anniversary of his passing. At five past nine, flags were lowered to half-mast, a 1-minute moment of silence was observed accompanied by sirens, and the national anthem was recited.  

As it does every year, Üsküdar University organizes commemoration events on November 10th, Atatürk Remembrance Day and Week.

On November 10, 1938, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, closed his eyes to his beloved homeland and life.

Atatürk, a leader often emulated and loved not only by the Turkish people but also by other nations, bid farewell to us at five past nine on November 10, 1938.

Atatürk has been commemorated with various events across the country every November 10th since his passing.

Along with its academic, administrative, and expert staff, and its students, Üsküdar University commemorated Mustafa Kemal Atatürk at all its campuses when the clocks struck 09:05.

Members of the Üsküdar family who stepped outside at their respective locations once again remembered Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect, love, and gratitude.

A 1-minute moment of silence was observed, and the national anthem was recited.
