Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, was commemorated with blessings, gratitude, and respect at Üsküdar Üniversitesi on the 87th anniversary of his passing into eternity. Life came to a standstill for one minute at 09:05 in all campuses of the university. Members of the NPGRUP Family remembered Atatürk with longing. As part of the commemoration events, the November 10 Press Exhibition was also opened to visitors.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi, as it does every year, organized commemoration events this year within the scope of November 10 Atatürk Commemoration Day and Atatürk Week.

Accompanied by siren sounds, the academic and administrative staff and students of Üsküdar Üniversitesi stood in respectful silence and then collectively sang the National Anthem.

Flags lowered to half-mast

NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi, Üsküdar Üniversitesi's practice and scientific partner, also commemorated Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with a ceremony at the same time.

In the programs, where Atatürk's emphasis on science, education, women's rights, love for nature, and animals was highlighted, the importance of upholding the achievements of the Republic was stressed.

Members of the Üsküdar family once again remembered Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect, love, and gratitude.

November 10 Press Exhibition opened to visitors…

The exhibition, featuring headlines from November 10, 1938 newspapers and press documents from that period, was met with great interest by students and staff.

Through the headlines of that day, participants had the opportunity to observe the historical reflections of the Turkish nation's deep love and mourning for Atatürk.
