Students of Uskudar University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) Nuclear Technology and Radiation Safety Program conducted a technical trip to Monrol Nuclear Products Industry and Trade, one of Turkey's leading companies in the field of nuclear medicine, to support their professional development and increase their sectoral awareness. During the trip, students had the opportunity to receive direct information from experts and observe current industry practices on-site.

Head of Nuclear Technology and Radiation Safety Program, Lecturer Dilek Aker, Head of Electrical and Energy Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feride Kulalı Özdek, and program students participated in the organized trip.

During the technical trip, students were provided with personal protective equipment such as aprons, shoe covers, and alarmed dosimeters. Additionally, comprehensive information on general radiation safety, area monitors, and personal dosimeter usage was given. The high-level security measures taken were enlightening and instructive for the department students.

Monrol is a globally recognized company operating in the fields of radionuclide production, radiopharmaceutical development, and distribution. The company specializes in the production of radiopharmaceuticals used in advanced imaging methods such as PET and SPECT.

Internship and job opportunities were also discussed

At the end of the technical trip, Monrol Human Resources Emine Ayşenur Dayanıklı informed the students about the internship and job opportunities offered by the company and invited them to share their resumes for potential future positions.
