Prof. Dr. Nilgün Tekkeşin, a faculty member of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Medicine (English) Department of Medical Biochemistry, conducted an activity for Faculty of Medicine students. Within the scope of the activity, 1st-year students of the Faculty of Medicine (English) made presentations on medical topics they identified. The presentations, which highlighted diverse and current topics, were followed with great interest.

Prof. Dr. Nilgün Tekkeşin, a faculty member of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Medicine (English) Department of Medical Biochemistry, expressed her happiness regarding her students' success.
Tekkeşin said; “Increasing and encouraging our Faculty of Medicine students' individual and social responsibility perceptions and research skills in the field of science constitutes an important part of our education. Our students' achievements and happiness also became a great source of pride for us.”
Presentations on Diverse Topics Were Made
Each student and student group made presentations on the medical topics they determined.
The main topics of the presentations were ‘Probiotics’, ‘Antibiotic Resistance’, ‘Relationship between Music and Health’, ‘3D Bioprinting’, ‘Tourette Syndrome’, ‘CRISP12 Cas9 Technology’, ‘Importance of Early Diagnosis’ and ‘Rabies’.
