Üsküdar University hosted middle and high school students in the classrooms of its Çarşı Campus as part of the ‘From Basic Ideas to Basic Sciences Project’. Üsküdar University hosted the project, which is carried out under the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education and aims to discover talented students in basic sciences. Within the scope of the Semester Science Olympiads Training Camp, students received training in mathematics, computer science, and biology categories.

The project aims to help students conduct in-depth and qualified studies in basic sciences, enable them to produce 21st-century technologies using basic sciences, and choose basic sciences as a career in the future.
Held from January 27th to February 3rd
The training sessions given at Üsküdar University’s Çarşı Campus were held from January 27th to February 3rd.
55 middle and high school students who wished to develop in the field of science were divided into groups.
Students in these groups received science olympiad training in mathematics, computer science, and biology categories.
Prepared for National and International Science Olympiad competitions
Through the training they received, students prepared for National and International Science Olympiad competitions.
The Semester Science Olympiads Training Camp had a significant impact on career planning for students in middle school and high school mathematics, and middle school and high school computer science categories.
