Full Accreditation from MEDEK for VSHS Programs

The First and Emergency Aid and Medical Laboratory Techniques programs within Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) successfully completed the evaluation process conducted by MEDEK and earned the right to receive Full Accreditation. Within the scope of the site visit, the programs’ educational infrastructure and academic competencies were evaluated, demonstrating that they meet quality standards in vocational education.

As part of the site visit carried out by MEDEK on October 30 and 31 and November 1, 2025, the education and training processes, academic qualifications, physical and technological infrastructure, and practical training opportunities of the First and Emergency Aid and Medical Laboratory Techniques programs were comprehensively assessed.

At the end of the site visit, the program exit statement was read and the evaluation process was completed.

Educational infrastructure examined on site

The evaluation process was carried out under the coordination of VSHS Vice Directors Assoc. Prof. Feride Kulalı Özdek and Instructor Esad Sadık Demirtaş.

The evaluation team examined the laboratories, practice areas, workshops, and classrooms located on campus and received detailed information regarding the educational infrastructure.

Full accreditation valid until 2029

According to the official results announced by MEDEK, both the First and Emergency Aid and Medical Laboratory Techniques programs were granted Full Accreditation, valid between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2029.

This achievement once again certified the importance Üsküdar University VSHS places on quality assurance in vocational education and its practice oriented educational approach.
